Hi dear friends,
Here is the true story happening to my dear husband after he got his mobile phone.
The following email sent to E, a French guy, (who is shao po’s “top ten" dearest friend now), is written by peng peng. Enjoy the story and phone my dear husband at xxx-xxx-xxxx once a while.
Thank you for your compassion.

| Hi dear E,All thanks to your strong recommendation, my dear husband, shao po, got his mobile phone two days ago. Now I am trying to tell you how this little mobile phone changes his life (hopefully, not mine). Last night I picked him up at the Santa Clara Conference Center. On the way home, I drove so that he could play with his lovely mobile phone. He was still so so excited about this magic toy, which is supposed to be exactly like yours. I asked him if he got any call today (because I did not call him). He said no like a kid with such a disappointed tone. Then I figured out that YOU and I are the only two human being who have his toy no. Sorry, it is a very sad story but I just could not help laughing to see him still have the phone stand by. When we approached home, he was so depressed and said “how come nobody calls me". (I guess under this circumstance, what he said is equal to " why doesn’t E call me". ) At this moment, I suddenly realize two things:
2. He is very vulnerable.
Even with all these frustrations, he still recharged his toy right after he arrived home. He had some alcohol and went to bed very early. This morning, he got up at 4am and went to work at 5.

To prevent his further mental breakdown, I suggest that we better call him at least once per day. In order to give you some pressure, I have to point out that YOU, E, are the one who encourages him to experience this new toy. I am not responsible for this sort of depression. Well, however, I have done my job today by calling him on his way to the office (5:10 am!).
There are three lessons that I have learned from this true story:
1.How advanced technologies affect our lives.
2. If a person gives you his (or her) phone no, he does not just mean “give me A call". He might imply “give me as many calls as possible".
2. If a person gives you his (or her) phone no, he does not just mean “give me A call". He might imply “give me as many calls as possible".
3. MEN—–are so pathetic.
It is amazing how much we can learn about human being through a tiny little mobile phone. Thank you, E. You are such a wonderful friend.
After reading this email, I still hope you will enjoy your day. (If not, just try)
